ANAHEIM GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTER

Our Strong Hearts program at Anaheim Global Medical Center provides advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular treatments for patients suffering from heart-related illnesses

Access to the Best Resources

As a designated STEMI Receiving Center, our hospital is equipped with a cardiac response team ready to treat heart attack patients at a moments notice. Our cardiac surgeons have some of the best clinical outcomes in Orange County and are leaders in their fields.

Left & Right Heart Catheterization

This procedure can help find out if a patient has disease of the heart muscle, valves or coronary arteries. A thin, hollow tube(catheter) is inserted into a large blood vessel and contrast dye is injected. This procedure provides information on how well the heart works, identifies problems and allows for procedures to open blocked arteries.

Electrophysiology Study for Diagnostics and Therapeutic Ablations

Our studies test the electrical activity of the heart to find where an arrhythmia (abnormal heartbeat) is coming from. The test results help our EP physicians decide whether their patient needs medication, a pacemaker, an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), cardiac ablation or surgery.

Impella Device – Ventricular Assist Device for High Risk PCI Cases

This device assists the pumping of the heart during stent placement allowing patients with severe heart disease to safely undergo a stenting procedure.

Cardiac Contractility Modulation Device Implant for Heart Failure Patients

With this minimally invasive implantable device, patients may experience a higher quality of life through the reduction of CHF symptoms such as shortness of breath and fatigue.
